THG Sports brings more than 40 companies to the 2009 Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga., this week to take part in professional golf’s most prestigious event.
“It’s been an exciting first tournament so far,” THG Sports CEO Jon Stromberg says of Thursday’s opening round, which featured a record-setting five consecutive birdies from tournament leader Chad Campbell. “There’s no question this weekend will bring even more memorable moments.”
THG Sports is hosting 40 corporate clients for the tournament, marking the company’s 18th year of providing hospitality at the Masters. THG Sports clients receive day-long access to tournament play, exclusive hospitality offerings and the opportunity to meet PGA and media celebrities.
This year, former PGA Tour standout and ESPN golf commentator Andy North and the Golf Channel’s Jennifer Mills are among the celebrities THG brings to its on-site activities at the Masters to share their perspective and experience on golf and personal success with THG Sports clients.
“Our goal is to provide our clients with the personal and professional experience of a lifetime,” Jon Stromberg says. “The Masters Tournament is the perfect setting to do both .”
